1. Introduction

Welcome to DhobiBhaiyya.com (“Website”), a technology-enabled laundry pickup, processing and delivery service operated by Anvist Infotech Private Limited (“Company”, “DhobiBhaiyya”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website and all laundry-related services provided by the Company.

By accessing the Website, placing an order, booking a pickup, making a payment or otherwise using our services, you (“Customer”, “you” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

DhobiBhaiyya provides technology-enabled laundry services, which may include pickup, transportation, washing, dry cleaning where offered, ironing, folding, stain treatment, packaging and delivery. The Company may engage authorised third-party processing and logistics partners. The Company may add, modify, suspend or discontinue services or geographic service areas.

3. Customer Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, the information provided is accurate, you are the owner of or authorised to submit the garments/items, the items do not contain prohibited or hazardous materials, and you agree to these Terms and applicable law.

4. Order Placement

Orders may be placed through the Website, application, WhatsApp or other channels made available by DhobiBhaiyya. The Customer may be required to provide name, mobile number, email address, pickup and delivery address, pickup slot, garment/item details and other information required to fulfil the order. The Customer is responsible for ensuring all information is complete and accurate.

5. Pickup and Garment Count

The Company’s pickup partner may count and/or record garments received. Final quantity and service category may be determined after receipt and inspection. If actual quantity, garment type or service differs from the original order, the final invoice may be revised. Where reasonably practicable, material price changes will be communicated before processing.

6. Garment Inspection

Garments may be inspected before processing. The Company may identify and record existing stains, tears, holes, weak fabric, colour fading, discolouration, missing buttons, loose stitching, embroidery/embellishment issues, fabric deterioration and other pre-existing defects. Garments may be photographed or digitally recorded for identification, quality control, order verification or dispute resolution.

7. Items Not Accepted

The Company may refuse items that are unsuitable, unsafe or beyond the scope of its services, including items containing hazardous substances or sharp objects, items containing valuables, items requiring specialist treatment not offered, items that may damage other garments/equipment, prohibited items, or otherwise unsuitable items.

8. Pockets and Personal Belongings

Customers must remove cash, cards, jewellery, keys, electronic devices, documents, pens, cosmetics, USB devices and other valuables before handing over garments. The Company shall not be responsible for loss or damage to belongings left in pockets or attached to garments, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Special Instructions

Customers may provide special washing, ironing, folding or processing instructions. The Company will make reasonable efforts to follow them, but a specific result cannot be guaranteed where the garment’s nature or condition makes it impossible or unreasonably risky. The Company may use an alternative method or decline processing.

10. Stains and Cleaning Results

The Company shall make reasonable efforts to remove stains; however, complete removal of every stain cannot be guaranteed. Results depend on stain type, age and severity, fabric, dye, previous treatment and garment condition. A stain remaining after reasonable processing shall not by itself constitute defective service.

11. Colour Bleeding, Shrinkage and Fabric Characteristics

Certain fabrics may naturally be susceptible to colour bleeding, fading, shrinkage, stretching, texture changes or embellishment damage. The Company will exercise reasonable care and use an appropriate method, but shall not be responsible for inherent characteristics, manufacturing defects, poor-quality dyes, weakened fabric or damage that could not reasonably have been identified before processing.

12. Delicate and High-Value Garments

Customers should inform the Company before submitting expensive, designer, antique, silk, leather, suede, heavily embellished or otherwise delicate items. The Company may refuse such items where risk is unreasonably high. Specialist restoration or conservation is not included unless expressly accepted.

13. Loss or Damage

The Company shall take reasonable care of garments. Where a garment is proven to have been lost or damaged due to the Company’s negligence, compensation may be provided under its applicable compensation policy. Compensation shall generally be based on reasonable current value, considering age, condition and depreciation, and shall not automatically be based on original purchase price. The Company shall not be liable for normal wear and tear, pre-existing defects, manufacturing defects, natural fading, inherent fabric weakness, incorrect care labels, customer instructions, pocket contents or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

14. Missing Items

Any missing-garment claim should be reported as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery. The Company may investigate pickup, count, processing, photographs, packaging and delivery records. Where an item was lost due to the Company’s fault, compensation may be provided under the applicable compensation policy.

15. Delivery

The Company shall endeavour to deliver within the estimated period communicated. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, holidays, processing delays, logistics disruptions, customer unavailability, incorrect information or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

16. Customer Unavailability

If the Customer is unavailable, the Company may attempt to contact the Customer and arrange another delivery. Additional charges may apply where repeated attempts are required for Customer-related reasons.

17. Pricing and Taxes

Website prices are subject to change. Final price may depend on garment quantity, type, processing category, special treatment, additional services, delivery charges and applicable taxes. The Company may correct pricing errors and modify prices prospectively.

18. Delivery Charges

Applicable pickup/delivery charges will be displayed or communicated before confirmation. Promotional free-delivery offers may have minimum order values, geographic limitations and other conditions.

19. Payment

Payment shall be made through available payment methods. The Customer authorises the Company and authorised payment providers to process payments. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways or third-party providers.

20. Third-Party Service Providers

The Company may engage third parties for processing, logistics, payment processing, technology, cloud hosting, communication and other operations. The Company will take reasonable steps to manage service relationships but is not responsible for failures attributable solely to third-party systems beyond reasonable control.

21. Intellectual Property

The DhobiBhaiyya name, logo, Website, software, designs, graphics, content, databases, trademarks and other intellectual property belong to or are lawfully used by Anvist Infotech Private Limited. 23. Customer Communication

The Company may contact Customers regarding order confirmation, pickup, delivery, payment, order status, support and complaints. Marketing communications shall be handled in accordance with applicable law and customer preferences.

24. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, flood, fire, epidemic/pandemic, war, civil disturbance, government restrictions, strikes, major traffic disruption, telecommunications failure, power failure or other unforeseen events.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of its services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Part D — General Provisions
